New ATM system for Dutch MIL TOWER
DFS Aviation Services and DFS successfully completed the installation of a centralised PHOENIX system for eight military towers of the Military Air Traffic Control Centre of the Royal Netherlands Air Force until the end of 2017.

DFS Aviation Services at Lake Constance airport
In the future, air traffic at Bodensee-Airport Friedrichshafen, situated on Lake Constance, will be controlled by DFS Aviation Services. The DFS subsidiary will replace the Austrian air navigation service provider Austro Control there from 1 July 2018 on. In addition, it will support the modernisation of the airport.

From November, Henry Game becomes new Managing Director at Air Navigation Solutions Ltd, a subsidiary of DFS Aviation Services.
HUSUM Wind 2017
DFS Aviation Services attended the 15th wind industry trade fair in Germany. Carsten Wiltschko (Senior Expert ATS) took the opportunity to exchange ideas and experience with other attendees and to present his current project: Seewelle (Sea Wave).
Training for CAMIC
Early September, DFS Aviation Services again successfully organised a tailored training course on “Practical Occurrence Investigation in ATM” to the Civil Aviation Management Institute of China (CAMIC).
54th DGCA Conference in Mongolia
Between 7 and 11 August 2017, the 54th Conference of the Directors General of Civil Aviation Asia and Pacific Regions ("the 54th DGCA Conference"), was held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
A-CDM consulting project in Birmingham concluded
11.08.2017 - Birmingham Airport sought out DFS Aviation Services for assistance with their airport collaborative decision-making (A-CDM) procedure.
High-level visit from China
04.07.2017 - On 26 and 27 June, a high-level delegation from the Air Traffic Management Bureau of Civil Aviation Administration of China (ATMB) visited DFS Aviation Services in Langen, Germany. During their stay, they had a tour of the DFS Air Navigation Services Academy to learn more about operational training.
