    <\/strong><\/span>The legal basis for processing personal data in the application procedure is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
    Where special categories of personal data within the meaning of Art. 9(1) GDPR (e.g., health data or ethnic origin) are requested from applicants as part of the procedure, processing is based on Art. 9(2)(b) and (h) GDPR. In the case of voluntary disclosure of special categories of personal data, processing is based on Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR.<\/p>\n

    4. Recipients
    <\/strong><\/span>Access to your data is generally restricted to employees of DFS Aviation Services\u2019 HR management.
    In the context of administering our HR IT systems, system administrators also have access to data.
    Application data are shared with the hiring manager responsible for the vacancy and, in the event of employment, with the competent works council.<\/p>\n

    Disclosure of data to other functions within the company, to third parties, or to third countries generally does not take place.<\/p>\n

    For applications for air traffic controller training, applicant data are forwarded to external service providers (currently Eurocontrol) as part of the aptitude assessment.<\/p>\n

    5. Data deletion\/anonymization
    <\/strong><\/span>In accordance with Art. 17(1)(a) GDPR, data are generally deleted automatically six (6) months<\/strong> after the selection process has been completed; i.e., the data no longer allow any inference about the applicant\u2019s identity.
    For applications for air traffic controller training, detailed application documents (attachments) are retained to handle follow-up queries for up to six (6) months<\/strong> after the end of the application process and then deleted.<\/p>\n

    6. Your rights
    <\/strong><\/span>You may exercise your rights of access, erasure, rectification, restriction of processing, and data portability\u2014provided the respective requirements of the GDPR are met.
