The system was developed by DFS Aviation Services GmbH.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>The system\u2019s cloud-based radar display has been used in the Federal Police Air Support\u2019s five operation centres since 2021. Thanks to the cloud-based and location-independent radar display PHOENIX WebInnovation, reliable air situation information in air traffic control quality can be called up at any time and nationwide, facilitating the stationary and mobile operational planning of the German Federal Police.<\/p>\n<p>Through this innovative tool, police personnel have access to precise position data in real time for all IFR and VFR air traffic as well as their own helicopters, based on modern radar technology.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith PHOENIX WebInnovation, we were able to put an extremely reliable and flexible tool into operation to display the air traffic situation, which successfully supports us in handling day-to-day tasks and challenging operations,\u201d explains Torsten Frank, Head of Department, and pilot for the German Federal Police Air Support Group.<\/p>\n<p>Andreas P\u00f6tzsch, Managing Director of DAS, adds: \u201cWe are pleased that the Federal Police Air Support Group are using our system successfully in their operations and that we can provide them with reliable air traffic control data.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The German Federal Police Air Support Group has four helicopter squadrons located throughout Germany and carries out flight operations to support everyday Federal Police tasks. This includes, in particular, border, rail and maritime surveillance. The operation of civil defence helicopters completes the daily tasks of the Federal Police Air Support Group.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>DFS Aviation Services GmbH (DAS)<\/strong> is a subsidiary of DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH and employs more than 400 people around the world. As a certified ATM provider, DAS\u00a0controls air traffic at German small and medium-sized airports and sells products and\u00a0services related to Air Traffic Control around the world. Its customers include ATM\u00a0organisations, airports, airlines and aviation authorities all over the world.\u00a0Through its subsidiary, Air Navigation Solutions Ltd. (ANSL), DAS is also responsible for air\u00a0 traffic at Edinburgh. The subsidiary DFS Aviation Services Bahrain CoWLL provides support in the Middle East in the areas of air traffic control and air traffic\u00a0control technology. In Asia, DFS Aviation Services has a representative office in Beijing and\u00a0a branch office in Singapore. In Latin America, DAS has a branch office in Lima.
