At the end of the three days of the trade fair, the organiser counted 6,500 visitors at this year’s Airspace World in Geneva – around 2,000 of whom represented air navigation service providers from all over the world. After months of preparations for its appearance, DAS can look back on days full of dialogue and a well-attended trade fair stand.<\/p>\n

For several years now, the two-storey stand construction has been the architectural trademark of the DFS Group. Compared to previous appearances, this year’s stand was visually redesigned to provide more openness and space for dialogue.<\/p>\n

However, it was not only on the product side with the further developed products from AMAN, ATS Suite, Remote Tower Control and PHOENIX WebInnovation that the DFS Group met with the desired visitor interest. The accompanying programme at the trade fair in the form of panel discussions and speaker slots also found its audience on site.<\/p>\n

Among other things, they discussed the challenges of digital towers for large airports and their contract to develop a state-of-the-art TMA design for Athens Airport. DAS also signed two cooperation agreements with its partners SITA<\/a><\/strong> and CS Soft<\/a><\/strong>: the former is a coupled Arrival Manager (AMAN) and Departure Manager (DMAN) solution designed to improve operational efficiency at airports. And the co-operation with CS Soft aims to combine the PHOENIX ATC system with the ESUP-NG FDP system.<\/p>\n

The third Airspace World will take place next year in Lisbon in mid-May. It will continue to be organised by CANSO, the global industry association for air navigation service providers.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>
