The 30th AERO Friedrichshafen was once again a complete success with over 31,500 visitors from 81 countries, who were inspired by numerous innovations and premieres. With 680 exhibitors from 38 countries and more than 270 aircrafts, the trade fair offered a wide range of innovations, including electrically powered aircraft and new helicopter models.<\/p>\n

Particularly noteworthy were the AERO Drones, the AERO Gliding Expo and the AERO Career Days, which complemented the trade fair’s varied programme. The numerous presentations at the AERO Conferences and the introduction of the AERO General Aviation (GA) Academy emphasised the high level of education on offer at the event.<\/p>\n

The DAS ATCO team was on duty for the visitors with 11 people. Despite the bad weather conditions, there were almost 500 aircraft movements over the four days and some visitors travelled to the trade fair by plane. \u2018Once again this year, it was a pleasure for the air traffic control team to handle the air traffic for the trade fair,\u2019 added Peter Witt, Tower Manager in Friedrichshafen. \u2018The highlight of the trade fair was the fascinating airshow on Saturday afternoon, which delighted both our controllers and the visitors. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the organisers for the smooth cooperation.\u2019<\/p>\n
