For five successful years, DFS Aviation Services Bahrain Co W.L.L. has been providing air traffic management professionals to the Civil Aviation Affairs (CAA) at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Now, the contract with the MTT has been extended for another year (2024).
In 2022, the 70-strong team proved its expertise in both the introduction of a new ATM system and restructuring measures in Bahrain’s airspace. Both, DFS AS and CAA’s highly skilled teams have worked together to manage the increased traffic levels associated with the recent Bahrain International Airshow and the FIFA World Cup football tournament.

Bahrain is one of the most important pieces of airspaces when it comes to facilitating the movements of civil aircraft to and from Europe, the Middle East and the Far East.
Our colleagues from DAS Bahrain were very pleased to meet Hussain Ahmed Al-Shuail (Acting Under-Secretary Civil Aviation, BCAA) and Yaseen Al-Sayed (Director Air Navigation Services, BCAA) in person at Airspace World in Geneva on 8 March.
