Every year DFS Aviation Services are foregoing Christmas presents for our customers in favor of sustainability and social responsibility. In 2024 for example, we presented the non-profit organisation Waldfreunde gGmbH with a donation of EUR 1,500 and symbolically planted our first DAS tree – a winter lime tree.

Since the beginning of 2024, DAS, together with DFS and in cooperation with the regional electricity provider Stadtwerke Langen, has been offering charging stations for electric cars at its headquarters in Langen. This allows the DAS team to charge electric cars during work in an uncomplicated and easily accessible way.

End of 2024, a comprehensive energy consultation was carried out at the headquarters of DFS Aviation Serivces with the aim of optimising both the building and user behaviour. The consultation focused on identifying energy efficiency potential and measures to reduce costs. The result included an overall report with specific recommendations for action and measures to improve energy efficiency. In addition, training was provided to all employees to raise awareness of energy-efficient behaviour and promote sustainable change in day-to-day operations.
