At the close of the three-day Airspace World 2026, the organisers once again reported a positive outcome: thousands of visitors from more than 145 countries came to Lisbon to discuss the latest developments and innovations in the air navigation services sector.
The two-storey stand of the DFS Group also served as a central meeting point for customers, partners and industry representatives throughout the event. Numerous discussions and meetings underscored the international significance of the event.
This year’s exhibition focus was on the ATS Suite, Remote Tower Control, PHOENIX WebInnovation and DAS’s apron management services. In addition, the specialist presentations, panel discussions and speaker slots as part of the conference programme also met with great interest from visitors to the fair.
Another highlight of the fair was the signing of a letter of understanding between DAS and its long-standing partner Azeraeronavigation (AZANS). The aim of the agreement is to further expand joint cooperation in the development and implementation of next-generation ATM systems for international and regional airports in Azerbaijan.
The next Airspace World will take place again in Lisbon at the end of May 2027. The exhibition will continue to be organised by the Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation, the global industry association for air traffic control
