SANS and DFS Aviation Services Establish Strategic Partnership to Advance Air Navigation Services

DFS Aviation Services (DAS) and Saudi Air Navigation Services (SANS) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) establishing a strategic partnership to enhance the efficiency, capacity and future readiness of air navigation services through innovation, digital transformation and advanced ATM solutions.

The agreement establishes a framework for long-term collaboration across a range of operational and technological initiatives designed to support the evolving needs of air navigation service providers.

The collaboration will bring together the expertise of both organisations to explore opportunities for improving operational performance, increasing capacity and accelerating digital transformation. Areas of interest include ATM system architecture, cloud-based services, automation, airspace optimisation, air traffic flow management and emerging concepts such as remote towers and Advanced Air Mobility.

By combining their knowledge and technological capabilities, the partners aim to support air navigation service providers in achieving sustainable growth, greater operational efficiency and enhanced service performance.

The collaboration is intended to facilitate knowledge exchange and technology transfer between both organisations, creating opportunities to accelerate innovation, support sustainable growth and deliver operational benefits to air navigation service providers worldwide.
